Waterjet cutting robot cells are developed to be specially used on 3D cutting tasks. Mainly usage is for Automotive interiors parts processing. It can process different shapes of workpieces by changing different programs. Tasks would be like Headlining, floor carpets, luggage seats. The very thin water jet under Ultra High-Pressure, has extreme penetrating power, the speed can reach up to 200mm/s ~ 300mm/s while cutting the composite materials for car interior parts, and to headlining, this speed is up to 300mm/s ~ 500mm/s. So materials don't have enough time to be soaked by water, able to keep dry. So it effectively protects the interior parts from water damaging.
The robot water cutting only needs to replace the program and mold to complete the cutting process of different shapes. This replaces the problem of replacing the tool of the original trimming press, saves most of the cost, and shortens the product production cycle. The great feature of water jet cutting is that it has a high-energy water column. After cutting the material, the water column will enter the waste water recovery box through the reserved gap of the mold.
